Hai Binterpreneurs! Kali ini kita akan membahas tentang sablon DTF yang tengah banyak dibicarakan pengusaha sablon karena cocok untuk sablon kaos satuan. Bagi kamu yang ingin bisnis custom kaos, terutama untuk pemula, metode DTF sangat direkomendasikan. Sebelum mengenal cara kerja sablon DTF, kita pahami dulu ya arti DTF.
DTF adalah kepanjangan dari Direct Transfer Film, yakni metode sablon dengan tinta khusus untuk transfer gambar dengan kertas film (transfer paper DTF) dengan bantuan powder atau tepung (bubuk perekat sablon) sebagai perekat di kaos dengan metode dipress dengan temperatur tertentu.
Untuk mencetak kaos dengan metode ini, terlebih dahulu siapkan file yang ingin dicetak dengan format PNG atau TIF. Gunakan software rip untuk mencetaknya. Jika kamu menggunakan printer DTF Binterjet yakni BJET PSD atau BJET PDF, maka kamu bisa mendapat software Wasatch dengan tingkat akurasi warna yang tinggi, 99% mirip dengan file asli. File nantinya akan dicetak pada printer DTF dengan tinta pigment yang dapat mencetak warna yang solid, tajam dan jernih.
Metode cetak DTF harus dimirror (dibalik) dan 1 phase atau print color harus segera ditimpa tinta putih (white ink). Hasil cetak tersebut kemudian dilumuri dengan tepung (bubuk perekat sablon) atau adhesive powder (bubuk perekat) secara merata, yang kemudian dipanaskan (curing) supaya bubuk itu meleleh dan merekat dengan tinta putih.
Setelah itu, siapkan kaos yang siap dipress di mesin heatpress. Untuk pengepressan ini kertas transfer film sebaiknya ditutupi dengan kain teflon agar hasilnya maksimal. Mesin heatpress berfungsi menempelkan hasil sablon ke atas permukaan kain kaos. Temperatur yang tepat adalah 135 derajat Celcius selama 30 detik. Setelah itu kelupas hasil press tersebut dan lakukan pengepresan kedua yang berfungsi sebagai proses finishing dengan suhu 135 derajat selama 15 detik.
Sablon dengan metode DTF ini adalah “No Cut No Weed” atau proses sablon dilakukan secara langsung tanpa perlu lagi melakukan step cutting dan weeding, sehingga proses produksinya lebih cepat. Kecepatan produksi seperti ini tentu akan menjadi poin plus juga bagi bisnis sablonmu.
